Over the upcoming weekend, the Lemesos 2030 team is orchestrating a series of walks and events inviting visitors to delve into the contemporary narrative of Limassol.
From Friday to Sunday, participants will have the opportunity to choose from a selection of seven distinctive walks and five engaging events, each offering a unique perspective on the city’s essence.
The itinerary includes an architectural expedition through the historic Cine Volos Quarter, shedding light on its monumental buildings. Additionally, a stroll through Limassol’s Turkish neighborhood, known as Tourkomahallas, will provide insights into the past and present of Ismet Pasha street. For cycling enthusiasts, a bicycle ride will underscore the city’s potential as a safe haven for cyclists, while a journey aboard Bus 30 will amplify multicultural voices through personal anecdotes.
Moreover, a leisurely promenade in the city center will underscore the importance of preserving public spaces, while an exploration of the Amathus archaeological site will unveil the traces of ancient relations and rituals. As night falls, a spirited bar crawl will offer a glimpse into Limassol’s nocturnal pulse, bridging the past with the present.
