6th Annual Honey and Beekeeping Festival
For the sixth year in a row, the bee-friendly villages of rural Larnaca are opening their doors to the public, inviting everyone to celebrate nature’s golden gift at the Honey and Beekeeping Festival. This year’s festivities will take place in the picturesque mountainous village of Odou, with events scheduled from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday.
A Day of Fun and Discovery
This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better, offering a delightful day in nature where visitors can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of bees and honey. Attendees will have the chance to sample an extensive variety of honey-based and other bee-related products, including pollen, royal jelly, beeswax, and propolis. In addition to the bee-centric activities for both adults and children, guests will have the opportunity to explore the charming village of Odou, discovering its hidden gems.
Showcasing Honey and More
More than 25 exhibitors will be present at the festival, showcasing a wide array of products, predominantly related to honey. Visitors can look forward to tasting gourmet treats, and exploring beauty and wellness items crafted from honey.
Workshops and Entertainment
Starting at 10:30 AM, the festival will feature an array of workshops for all ages, including a treasure hunt and various culinary options. A rich entertainment program, complete with music and dances, will ensure a lively atmosphere throughout the day.
