Kicking off the festivities on July 3rd, The Bebop Project will take center stage, offering an electrifying performance. Led by Aris Constantinou on electric guitar, Charis Ioannou and Marios Staikidis on saxophones, Kyriakos Kestas on double bass, and Marios Spyrou on drums, the quintet will deliver a mesmerizing blend of bebop classics inspired by luminaries such as Tadd Dameron and Dizzy Gillespie. Their innovative arrangements promise a night of spirited improvisation and melodic synergy.
Indian Classical Serenade: Dr. Markus Schmidt and Ravi Saundankar
On July 12th, the serene melodies of Indian classical music will grace Technopolis 20’s garden, resonating with the soulful notes of Dr. Markus Schmidt on sitar and Ravi Saundankar on tabla. Transporting audiences through time-honored ragas, carefully chosen to harmonize with the setting sun, this performance is poised to evoke profound emotions and amplify the healing energies of nature.
Flamenco Rhythms: Rumba Attack
Continuing the cultural odyssey on July 16th, Rumba Attack will infuse Technopolis 20 with their vibrant Flamenco-Rumba fusion. Drawing from Mediterranean and Greek influences, their dynamic repertoire incorporates elements of rock and bossa nova, complemented by the enchanting vocals of Cypriot soprano Mariza Anastasiades. Jazz and Swing Finale: The Irenaeos Koulouras Trio
Bringing July to a melodious close on the 30th, The Irenaeos Koulouras Trio will take the stage with their evocative jazz and swing compositions. Featuring Irenaeos Koulouras on double bass, Christos Yerolatsitis on piano, and Stelios Xydias on drums, the trio pays homage to jazz legends like Oscar Peterson and McCoy Tyner.
