As August rolls in, the island transforms into a hub of beach lounging and party vibes to combat the intense heat. During this unofficial holiday period, cities empty out while beaches fill up with sun-seekers. Along with the crowds, numerous events shift to the coast, and next month, three thrilling parties featuring DJs from Cyprus and abroad will light up Protaras, the island’s hottest spot.
Music Element Returns
For its second summer event, Music Element will once again take over Ayia Triada Beach, turning it into an epicenter for electronic music. This event has evolved from a simple party into a highly anticipated one-day festival, running from the afternoon into the evening. Starting at 5:30 PM on August 15, a lineup of top DJs will command the large stage, delivering funky electronic dance and techno music. Festival-goers can enjoy a variety of drinks and food from the stalls while the impressive light shows and fireworks enhance the experience. The event is a favorite among locals and visitors of all ages.
Adriatique’s Extended Set
The music vibes at Ayia Triada continue on August 17 with an extended event featuring the Swiss DJ duo Adriatique. Known for their performances at top clubs and festivals worldwide, Adriatique will be joined by Yet More and Marcos, ensuring an unforgettable night.
The Ibiza Carnival
To close out the month, Nava Seaside will host The Ibiza Carnival on August 31, bringing a taste of the famous Spanish party island to Cyprus. The lineup includes DJs DJ SKT, Weiss, Billie Clements, George Kafetzis, Rue Jay, Moses Moiseos, Georgeos, and Christy B2B Nonis. Prepare to dance the night away from 5 PM to 1 AM.
