Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Systems Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on retail expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
This position can be fully remote for candidates residing in: AK, AZ, CO, FL, GA. ID, MT, NE, NV, NC, PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WY.
As a Murdoch’s Team Member, you will…
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in Purchasing / Finance / Operations/WMS to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
- Translate business requirements Dynamics 365 solutions & processes.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing system configuration does not meet business needs.
- Design and document Dynamics 365 solutions that meet business requirements.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules to support business processes.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
- Coordinate with IT and business team members to ensure successful implementation and integration of Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
- D365 System Testing and Quality Assurance (including regression testing on upgrades).
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Identify and resolve issues and defects during the testing phase.
- Ensure that solutions meet performance standards.
- Work with functional teams to deliver training for end-users and IT staff on Dynamics 365 functionalities and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365-related issues.
- Stay current with new features, updates, and best practices in Dynamics 365 and related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Requirements
As a Murdochian, you must…
- Have extensive experience (3+ years) with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role – experience in a Retail environment strongly preferred.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules (Commerce, F&O, SCM, WMS), Purchasing processes (Procure to Payment), EDI.
- Be proficiency in requirements gathering, business analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Have experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Possess a strong understanding of business processes and how they can be optimized with Dynamics 365.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Have experience with data, data management and relational databases.
- Be familiar with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Utilize strong data analytics and troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft 365, databases, and Power BI. SQL query is a plus.
- Investigate root causes and work with cross-functional areas to provide analysis and recommendations for improvement in business operations.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives and help leaders with implementation.
- Be proficiency in Microsoft office applications especially Excel.
