The Opportunity
Exceptional people are foundational to the success of a great company, and we are looking for a stand-out CEO to lead our latest venture as a Co-founder. This venture, still in stealth mode, is aiming to transform how prospective parents and child adoption agencies manage information sharing and logistics. We believe the future of child adoption will leverage technology to improve information flow and transparency so that the people involved can make the most informed decisions in this critical step of children’s and parents’ lives. We’re looking for a CEO who is excited about this mission and has firsthand experience in leadership roles in the child adoption or adjacent industries.
When we have reached the stage of hiring a co-founder, our team has already built significant conviction and excitement around the business opportunity. Upon joining, you will receive a highly validated concept rigorously assessed by our studio team including competitor analyses, business model, go-to-market strategies, and in some cases a working prototype. As CEO, you will be responsible for the full scope of activities required to bring this new venture to Seed stage, and build the team that will help you continue to grow the business.
Struck Studio will be your Co-founder, so instead of just one person, you will have a strategically crafted team of ambitious builders and operators that partner with you from ideation to spin-out – and beyond. Working with you hand-in-hand using our collective product and capital raising experience, we will design a simple, creative, and elegant product that puts the user first, execute market validation, and ensure the company has the resources to be successful into the future.

Your Role:
- Serve as Co-founder and shape company vision and strategy
- Create an inspiring culture that fosters strong leadership and recruits top talent
- Define and execute recruitment strategy
- Lead decision-making across all areas of the business from Finance and Operations to Product Development and Marketing
- Define and execute GTM strategy
- Define KPIs to monitor and improve business performance
- Develop strategic partnerships to further the venture’s growth
- Evolve and execute product roadmap, continually identifying opportunities for improvement and expansion
- Build conviction with customers and investors
- Partner on strategy and execution of fundraising from external VCs
- Manage disciplined financial operations, owning operational budget and managing runway
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years experience in leadership roles in the child adoption or adjacent industries
- Founder or Early Stage Start-up Leadership experience taking a product from 0-1 is strongly preferred
- Ambition and entrepreneurial mindset to build a high-growth business
- Scrappiness and willingness to get your hands dirty
- Venture capital fundraising experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and a track record of tackling difficult challenges
