On October 19, the vibrant Nicosia Erasmus+ Festival will bring the community together to honor multiculturalism and the European youth mobility programme. Organized by the Municipality of Nicosia in collaboration with the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes (IDEP), this event invites organizations involved in Erasmus+ programmes to participate, while the general public is encouraged to attend and learn more about the impactful actions of the initiative.
A Full-Day Celebration of Cultural Exchange
Set on Makarios Avenue, the festival promises an exciting day of activities from 11am to 7pm. The event is open to a wide range of participants including schools, universities, education and training centres, youth organizations, as well as students, educators, and volunteers. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in diverse activities such as workshops, exhibitions, presentations, and interactive games, showcasing skills, projects, and talents fostered through the Erasmus+ programme.
Entertainment for All Ages
The day’s festivities will be complemented by live music, a DJ, and a presenter who will guide attendees through the different programmes and activities. Alongside the educational components, there will be performances, entertainment, and dance shows designed to delight both children and adults alike.
This event is part of Erasmus Days, a broader celebration of the Erasmus+ projects, with events happening in various municipalities across Cyprus.
