Next week offers an exciting opportunity for literature enthusiasts in Cyprus. Bestselling author Alex Michaelides, known for his acclaimed thriller The Silent Patient, will be in Nicosia for a special event organized by Dioptra Publications and Soloneion Book Centre on October 9 at Kastelliotissa Hall.
Michaelides, also the author of The Maidens and The Fury, will engage with fans and book lovers during a conversation hosted by Tasos Tryfonos at 7 pm, followed by a Q&A session and a book signing to celebrate the release of his latest work.
Though Michaelides is already familiar to many Cypriot readers, the organizers offer a brief introduction: “Alex Michaelides was born and raised in Cyprus. He holds a Master’s degree in English Literature from Trinity College, Cambridge University, and another in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
