A unique new festival is on the horizon, designed to give a platform for diverse voices and stories to be shared. Breaking away from the traditional festival format, this event will shine the spotlight not on keynote speakers and presenters, but on ordinary people with stories to tell. Aiming to foster a community that inspires and connects from within, the inaugural Larnaka StoryFest will take place this autumn.
An Open Platform for All
The festival is scheduled for November 17 at the Larnaca Municipal Market, running from 11 am to 3 pm. Organized by Innoeusphere in partnership with Oxygen for Democracy, this one-day event seeks to create a space where everyday individuals can share their personal stories and ideas, promoting dialogue and collaboration among citizens. With a relaxed format, the event will not be limited to professional speakers; instead, it will offer the stage to the public, inviting all to participate.
Networking and Collaboration at the Core
At the heart of the festival will be networking sessions and open dialogues, setting the stage for future partnerships and professional opportunities. By encouraging the exchange of ideas, the festival hopes to spark the development of new initiatives and community events.
“Larnaka StoryFest will become a tradition where each unique life journey can be expressed,” say the organizers, “inspiring and empowering community members to draw from their own experiences and craft new, meaningful narratives.”
