This October, the Self-Care Lab is returning to Nicosia’s AG Leventis Gallery to offer a new season of immersive workshops that combine art therapy with mindfulness, focusing on nurturing the mind, body, and soul. This season’s workshops will take place within the enchanting Paris Collection, creating a unique blend of art and well-being.
Reconnect Through Art: A Therapeutic Experience
In mid-October, two art therapy workshops will be led by visual psychotherapists Eleni Petridou and Marina Ioannou, where participants will have the opportunity to spend the morning in the inspiring Impressionists Hall. The workshops will focus on selected pieces from the Paris Collection, encouraging participants to form personal and emotional connections with the artwork.
Guided by the expertise of Eleni and Marina, attendees will draw inspiration from the paintings, engaging deeply with their emotions and the visuals before transitioning into creating their own artistic expressions.
A Space for Reflection and Self-Care
These workshops aim to provide participants with an outlet to unwind, reflect, and openly discuss the challenges of daily life. Through the creative process, attendees will be encouraged to explore different aspects of self-care, understanding what it means to them and why it is essential. The Self-Care Lab will serve as a nurturing space where individuals can reconnect with themselves, socialize with others, and discover new ways to prioritize their well-being.
Workshop Details
Both sessions are scheduled for Saturday, October 12 and 19, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Each workshop, held in Greek, will cover a different theme, allowing participants to explore multiple dimensions of self-care and art. Attendees can choose to participate in either or both workshops, as each session offers an independent and unique experience.
