This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the 6×6 Centre for Photography in Limassol will host the GuruShots event, kicking off on Friday, June 7th.
GuruShots isn’t just a platform; it’s a global community that fosters creativity and appreciation for photography. Through friendly competition and challenges, GuruShots connects photography enthusiasts, offering valuable feedback and even the chance to exhibit their work internationally. This month, Cyprus has the privilege of hosting a stunning collection of photographs, a testament to the platform’s diverse and talented membership.
Double the Delight: Two Exhibitions Under One Roof
This year’s GuruShots exhibition brings not one, but two captivating showcases! Visitors can immerse themselves in the “Art of Photography” exhibition, featuring a selection of 57,000 entries that garnered a whopping 62 million votes. These works represent the talents of 511 photographers from 39 countries, each showcasing their unique perspective and mastery of the craft.
The second exhibition, titled “Dramatic Lighting,” highlights the power of light and shadow in photography. With 288 photographers from 39 countries contributing, this collection boasts 28,000 entries and 39 million votes.

The GuruShots exhibition is open to the public and runs from June 7th to 9th at the 6×6 Centre for Photography in Limassol. The opening night takes place on Friday from 7 pm to 9 pm, while Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10 am to 6 pm.
