A Decade of Festive Cheer
Marking its 10th anniversary, the Magic of Christmas Parade promises a day filled with entertainment and holiday magic. From 10 am to 4 pm, central Nicosia will come alive with a spectacular showcase of decorated classic cars, colorful costumes, captivating dance performances, and live music. Whether you follow the parade along its journey or join at one of its 10 stops, the festive spirit is guaranteed to delight visitors of all ages.
Parade Route and Key Stops
The day begins at Kyriakou Matsi Avenue at 10 am, setting the stage for a magical celebration. The parade’s first major highlight will be a visit to the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital Paediatric Ward at 11:30 am, spreading cheer to young patients.
As the parade progresses, it will pass by:
- Spyros Kyprianou Park, Aglantzia Area at 12 pm
- Digeni Akrita Street at 12:15 pm
- European University Cyprus at 12:30 pm, coinciding with the Handmade in Cyprus Christmas Market
The festive caravan will then make its way to:
- Mall of Engomi
- Ayios Dometios Church
- CYTA roundabout
- Makarios Avenue at 2 pm
The final stops will include Stasikratous Street at 2:30 pm before reaching Eleftheria Square at 3:45 pm.
The Grand Finale at Eleftheria Square
From 2 pm, Eleftheria Square will host an array of activities, including games for children and a live broadcast with Sfera Radio, leading up to the grand finale at 4 pm. The parade’s conclusion will feature a mesmerizing blend of antique cars, dancers, and performers, ensuring an unforgettable end to a day of holiday magic.
