Nicosia Weekend Showcases: Swing at Sarah’s Jazz Club and Classical at Kanthos Arts Centre
On Saturday night, music enthusiasts in Nicosia can choose from two distinct concerts. At Sarah’s Jazz Club, the Workin’ Quartet returns with their distinctive blend of swing grooves infused with soulful gospel tunes, New Orleans rhythms, and boogaloo beats. Their repertoire includes hidden gems from the 40s, 50s, and 60s, alongside original compositions, promising a night of vibrant musical exploration.
Simultaneously, the Kanthos Arts Centre will host a classical music affair featuring Guy Creen and Dmitry Kolganov. This dynamic duo will showcase a wide-ranging repertoire for violin and piano, including solo piano pieces and compositions for oboe and voice.
