The festivities kick off this weekend with the very first Indian Food Festival in Nicosia. Organized by the Cyprus India Culture Association, the event will offer a vibrant showcase of Indian flavors, featuring dishes from the northern and southern regions of India, as well as Gujarati and central Indian specialties. Traditional sweets will also be available for those with a sweet tooth. Taking place at Eleftheria Square, the festival will run from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday, with visitors able to enjoy not only delicious Indian cuisine but also live kirtan music and captivating dance performances.
4th Street Food and Art Festival in Palaichori
The following weekend, Palaichori village will host the 4th Street Food and Art Festival on October 12. This event promises a unique blend of art, entertainment, and of course, delectable food. Held in the village park from 3 pm to 10 pm, it will offer an array of both hot and cold dishes, showcasing Cypriot street food alongside international flavors. For dessert lovers, there will be tempting treats like crepes, loukoumades, and shamishi. Fork Food Market’s 10th Anniversary Celebration
On October 18, the popular Fork Food Market will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special street food market event. Held at the Nicosia Municipal Gardens, the celebration will begin at 6 pm and continue into the night.
