Nestled within the historic walls of Nicosia, Laiki Yitonia Christmas Village promises a holiday experience like no other. According to the municipality, “Visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in a traditional Christmas tale that blends relaxation, education, and creative entertainment while showcasing Nicosia’s rich history and traditions.” With the theme “A Traditional Christmas Tale,” the village invites locals and tourists alike to embrace the season’s magic.
50 Days of Festive Activities
For nearly two months, the picturesque alleys of Laiki Yitonia will come alive with music, theatre, dance ensembles, choirs, puppet shows, and children’s activities. Experiential workshops highlighting Cypriot traditions and culinary demonstrations will also be a central part of the festivities. Among the highlights is Santa’s Workshop, a space designed to captivate visitors of all ages and infuse them with the Christmas spirit.
Best of all, every performance, event, and workshop at the Christmas Village will be free of charge, ensuring that the festive cheer is accessible to everyone.
Shops, Lights, and Seasonal Joy
