Two upcoming events in Nicosia commemorate the enduring partnership between Norway and Cyprus, marking two decades of cooperation facilitated by the EEA and Norway Grants. To honor this milestone, local and international organizations are hosting a commemorative walk on Saturday, May 18, followed by a lively street party in the buffer zone.
The guided walk, commencing at 4:30 pm from CVAR – Severis Foundation, will lead participants through significant projects in downtown Nicosia, including stops at notable institutions like the Solidarity Network Nicosia in Action, PRIO Cyprus Centre, and The Cyprus Museum. The walk will culminate at the Home for Cooperation, where the street party will unfold, welcoming guests with music by local band Island Seeds and DJs Zildji and the Hiktune Project. Attendees can savor delicious burgers from Road Buns and refreshments from The Home Café throughout the evening.
