TEDxMolos Women: Celebrating Women’s Leadership in Limassol

On September 26, Limassol will host an inspiring event where women take the spotlight – TEDxMolos Women. This debut gathering aims to showcase the stories of six powerful female speakers from diverse backgrounds, sharing their journeys with audiences of all genders, ages, and walks of life. Held entirely in English, the event promises to inspire and empower attendees across multiple spheres.

Diverse Topics, United by a Female Perspective

The event will explore various themes, from entrepreneurship and sustainability to fintech, leadership, art, and business. Each speaker will offer a unique perspective through the lens of the female experience, emphasizing the evolving roles of women in today’s society.

The organizers explain, “As global dynamics shift, women are leading transformational changes across many sectors, bringing fresh perspectives and fostering positive collaboration. Their ability to lead with soft power—through empathy and subtle influence—is reshaping local and global communities alike.”

The Power of Soft Leadership

The event will focus on Soft Power, the theme of this year’s TEDxMolos Women, emphasizing a “new era of leadership” driven by empathy, collaboration, and subtle influence. Speakers will explore how this leadership style is helping to create a more compassionate and united world.

The organizers note, “Women are key drivers of change in today’s world, harnessing their unique qualities to bring people together and achieve extraordinary outcomes. Our speakers are local leaders, pushing boundaries and leading the charge for positive transformation in Cyprus.”

An Evening of Empowerment and Networking

Taking place at Plevsis Hall (Old Port, Limassol), the event will begin at 6.30 pm with light networking and welcome speeches. The first three TEDx talks will kick off at 7.10 pm, followed by a wine and music break before the final three talks resume at 8.30 pm. The evening will conclude with a cocktail reception.
