What we’re looking for:
We are looking for highly competent Accountants to help our clients make critical financial decisions and also efficiently operate their growing businesses. We are looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work and enjoys being on top of things. We highly prefer and will prioritize applicants with a CPA license; however, it is not a dealbreaker if you don’t have one yet. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities—what you’ll do:
- Perform comprehensive accounting tasks, including end-to-end processing and financial data reconciliation.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate payment terms, and oversee invoice processing and payments.
- Efficiently handle customer billing, ensuring prompt invoice generation and receipt processing.
- Maintain precise and organized financial records for accessibility and accuracy.
- Conduct in-depth financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, addressing related inquiries as needed.
- Uphold strict compliance with all financial, tax, and documentation regulations.
- Reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, bank, and credit card statements.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and budgets to offer valuable insights to management.
- Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to optimize financial performance and processes.
- Engage in collaborative efforts with various departments to gather financial information and participate in special projects.
- Participate in financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and identify opportunities for enhancing financial procedures.
- Offer guidance and training on accounting procedures to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Fully fluent in English
- Demonstrated expertise in using QuickBooks and other similar accounting systems
- Extensive experience and/or knowledge of the retail, e-commerce, or property management is a plus
- Skilled in the use of apps and technology
- Ability to commit long-term and full-time
- Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific Time, Central Time, or Eastern Time)
