Base Compensation: $24 Hourly
Start Date: Summer 2025
Department: Engineering Research & Development
Responsibilities:
● Use basic chemical engineering skills to provide solutions for assigned projects
● Apply collegiate curriculum and current knowledge/practices to solve specific technical
problems and standard design problems
● Execute challenging projects for assigned operation unit(s) to improve design,
operability, and unit performance.
● Collaborate with process engineers, operators, and other plant personnel to address
challenging real-world problems to meet unit production goals
● Explore the multiple career paths for Chemical Engineering (process engineering,
production engineering, process controls)
● Utilize real world applications and programs to identify and solve deficiencies
● Additional responsibilities will vary depending on the specific role
Required Qualifications:
● Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
● GPA 2.8 or higher
● Demonstrated understanding of engineering mathematics
● Microsoft suite proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
● Attention to detail
● Verbal and written communication skills
● Positive attitude and learning agility
● Proven success working in a team environment
● Demonstrated commitment to safety
● Ability to work in the U.S. with no restrictions (OPT H1b, TN visa currently not supported)
