At Doceo we’re going through an exciting period of growth and we need a new team member to manage our student inquiries and keep our community engaged whilst keeping their ear on the ground to our their needs.
The Community Engagement Manager will act as the voice of our brand online predominantly but not exclusively on Telegram and Twitter; growing, engaging with, and reporting on our active community.
Working alongside our marketing, content, and social media teams, you will cultivate our community to drive customer loyalty and retention, as well as help to grow brand awareness and greater student reach. The ideal candidate will constantly improve the Doceo journey to boost satisfaction and meet customer needs.
Working closely with the core team you could find yourself doing anything from responding to student queries on social media, liaising with bloggers, and keeping programme community engaged. It will be your job to look after our community because, without them, Doceo wouldn’t exist!
Role Requirements:
- Managing communications
- Growing, engaging with, and reporting on our active community
- Comfortable with using Twitter, Telegram, Instagram and LinkedIn
Tasks are likely to include:
- Weekly time commitment of 4 hours.
- Researching trending topics amongst 14 – 18-year-olds and feeding this back to the core team to determine stakeholder engagement strategy.
- Creating and sending out monthly newsletters to students, businesses, volunteers, parents, and Doceo Alumni.
- Facilitating the organisation of specialised events for students in the Doceo Community.
- Collecting data from students in the community to see how we can improve our services to them.
- Working with our copywriter and graphic designer to come up with any promotional material needed for the community.
- Semi-regular training to improve skills and knowledge.
- Managing student community group on telegram – Thinking of weekly challenges and or discussion topics.
- Managing giveaways and opportunities for our student community group and social media community.
- Answering general queries of students in our community.
