Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an Ecommerce Analyst at GETODAY GLOBAL LIMITED. The Ecommerce Analyst will be responsible for analyzing sales data, improving online customer experience, optimizing e-commerce strategies, and enhancing sales performance. The role involves monitoring trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing strategies to increase online sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect, monitor, and interpret data from eCommerce platforms, customer transactions, website traffic, and digital marketing campaigns to measure performance and identify trends.
- Website Performance: Analyze website metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, bounce rates, and average order value to identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Behavior: Study customer journeys, cart abandonment, and purchasing behavior to suggest improvements in user experience and product offerings.
- A/B Testing: Set up and analyze A/B tests to optimize web pages, landing pages, and checkout processes.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports and dashboards on eCommerce performance using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, or other relevant tools.
- Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Work with sales data to predict future performance, create sales forecasts, and help plan marketing budgets.
- SEO & SEM Optimization: Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure the eCommerce site is optimized for search engines (SEO) and track the effectiveness of search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.
- Inventory Management Insights: Provide analysis on product performance to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor eCommerce sites, pricing strategies, and customer engagement to identify new opportunities for growth.
- User Experience Improvements: Recommend improvements for navigation, website speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall usability based on data.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, development, and logistics to execute data-driven changes on the eCommerce platform.
Key Technical Skills
- eCommerce Platforms:
- Proficiency in eCommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Web Analytics Tools:
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other web analytics tools for tracking traffic, conversions, and user behavior.
- Data Management & Analysis Tools:
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros), SQL, Google Data Studio, and Power BI for data manipulation, reporting, and insights.
- A/B Testing Platforms:
- Familiarity with tools like Optimizely, Google Optimize, VWO (Visual Website Optimizer) to conduct A/B tests and report on outcomes.
- SEO/SEM Tools:
- Knowledge of SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Google Ads for campaign tracking and keyword research.
- CRM & Marketing Automation:
- Experience with HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Salesforce to track customer interactions and automate marketing tasks.
- UX/UI Best Practices:
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, and experience with tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg for heatmaps and customer behavior insights.
- Inventory & Order Management Systems:
- Familiarity with tools such as NetSuite, Odoo, Zoho Inventory, or other ERP systems to track product performance and inventory levels.
- Project Management Tools:
- Use of tools like Trello, Asana, or Jira to manage tasks, collaborate with teams, and track progress on website changes and initiatives.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in identifying issues or opportunities in eCommerce performance.
