About The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Brokerage to help us solve the toughest problems in our global fintech. Someone to roll up their sleeves and dive into every area of our business to help millions of customers worldwide.

This is a unique opportunity to join our trading services as a Head of Brokerage where you’ll play a crucial role in bringing our vision to life. Your responsibilities will span across market abuse and best execution monitoring.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing trading support for the Cyprus Trading Business, focusing on order reception, transmission, and daily crypto trading
• Resolving reconciliation breaks and ensuring records are accurate
• Collaborating with teams to achieve operational goals
• Managing and expanding the crypto asset portfolio while ensuring CYSEC compliance
• Implementing risk management and evaluating new crypto trading technologies
• Reporting trading performance and market conditions to executives
• Building relationships with crypto exchanges and liquidity providers
• Improving trade surveillance tools and monitoring processes
• Analysing and escalating suspicious transactions to compliance
• Working with developers to enhance trade surveillance and execution practices
• Assisting in training and policy development for market abuse monitoring
• Staying updated on relevant crypto regulations and best execution standards
• Supporting quality assurance testing to address trade surveillance issues

What You’ll Need

• At least a 2:1 degree from a top university
• 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in financial services
• CYSEC Advanced Certificate/license
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones and to enjoy working with data
• Natural curiosity and a will to make an impact
