Experience cinematic magic under the stars with seaside film nights in Cyprus! As the sun sets over Larnaca, the town’s seafront transforms into an open-air cinema, courtesy of the Larnaca Cinema Society. Throughout the summer, movie buffs can enjoy a series of outdoor screenings, some even right by the sea.
Most screenings take place at the Pierides Museum, but select evenings will take you to charming villages and squares across the Larnaca district. However, the real treat awaits on the beach, with three special screenings scheduled this summer.
Picture yourself lounging on the sands in front of the historic Larnaca Medieval Castle as you enjoy acclaimed films from around the world. From Ken Loach’s “The Old Oak” to the biographical “Django,” and concluding with the Greek comedy “Ekei Pou Zoume,” there’s something for every cinephile.
Keep in mind, seating won’t be provided, so pack your beach chairs or blankets for a cozy night under the stars. Don’t miss this unique cinematic experience!
