As one of the island’s major importer and distributor of food products for the retail and HORECA markets, we have the expertise and strong established partnerships to manage the introduction, distribution, promotion, and growth of our brand’s products and services.
Since our founding date, back in 1972, we operate on three levels, namely Retail, HORECA and Coffee Service. Growing steadily, and in order to meet the increasing market demands in a more efficient and streamlined way, by the end of 1993 we eventually moved into our privately-owned, purpose-built premises in the Dali Industrial Area.
As a result of our dedication and hard work, Clappas Trading House Ltd. is the first company in the import and distribution industry to be awarded the ISO 9001 and the HACCP certificates. Currently, we are certified with ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System (EMS)/EMAS).
