Marks and Spencer is a major British multinational retailer headquartered in London. It specialises in the selling of clothing, home products and luxury foods. M&S was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer in Leeds, UK. In 1960 Artemisia Panayiotou established the first relation with Marks & Spencer and opened the first M&S store in Cyprus.
