A charity cycling event is on the horizon, aimed at supporting the Elpida Foundation for Children with Cancer and Leukaemia. This special event, scheduled for this Saturday, merges a love for cycling with compassion and solidarity for children facing severe health challenges.
Led by the Lexus Cycling Dream Team, the Love Race (Agonas Agapis 2024) will cover a remarkable 145-kilometre off-road route. Cyclists will start from Troodos Square and ride all the way to the Elpida Foundation in Nicosia. All funds raised during this event will be used to financially support the Elpida Foundation and its cause.
The event has also garnered the support of SupportCY from the Bank of Cyprus, with volunteers from the SupportCY Volunteer Corps accompanying the riders throughout the journey, offering assistance whenever needed.
The primary aim of this charity race is to raise public awareness while embracing the mission of the Elpida Foundation, which seeks to generate more financial resources for children battling cancer and leukaemia.
