A Special Guest Arrives
This Christmas, the holiday season gets even more magical as Santa Claus makes his way to Cyprus from Finland. The beloved figure, recognized by his iconic red suit and white beard, is visiting Nicosia and Larnaca to spread joy and holiday cheer. Organized by the Finnish Embassy and Nicosia’s Paramythoupoli (Fairyland), this enchanting event offers families and children the opportunity to meet Santa in person.
Santa’s Arrival in Nicosia
Santa is set to touch down in Nicosia on Wednesday, where he will first make an appearance at the Gate 22 Hotel, located opposite Paramythoupoli in the heart of the city. From 5:00 PM, visitors can meet Santa, snap photos, and soak up the festive atmosphere during a 30-minute session at the hotel.
Following his meet-and-greet, Santa will take to the Laiki Geitonia Christmas Village at 5:30 PM, wandering through the beautifully decorated streets. Visitors can expect to encounter Santa enjoying the lively music, interactive workshops, and the gift-giving spirit that defines the holiday season.
A Weekend of Christmas Adventures
Santa will continue to spread holiday joy in Nicosia with two more appearances at Paramythoupoli:
- Friday: From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Santa will greet families at the funfair.
- Sunday: From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, visitors will once again have the chance to meet him, take photos, and enjoy the magical Christmas atmosphere.
Santa Visits Larnaca
Santa’s journey doesn’t stop in Nicosia—he will also visit Larnaca Christmas Land, giving residents a chance to experience the magic. Santa will make appearances in Larnaca on:
- Thursday: From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Saturday: From 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM
These events promise memorable moments as Santa engages with visitors of all ages, bringing the Christmas spirit alive in another part of Cyprus.
