Outdoor cinema nights are the perfect way to embrace the summer, and this year, Cyprus has offered cinephiles an abundance of cinematic delights. With a variety of film and documentary festivals and independent screenings happening all over the island, there has been something for everyone to enjoy throughout the summer. Now, as August rolls in, Ayia Napa Marina is teaming up with Starlit Screens to bring a series of magical outdoor cinema nights.

Running until early September, these almost-daily film screenings at the marina offer a chance to experience beloved films under the stars. On August 18, 22-25, and August 29 to September 1, a selection of internationally acclaimed movies will be shown. This Week’s Featured Films

This Sunday, the captivating film The French Dispatch will be shown at Ayia Napa Marina. Following that, on August 22, movie-goers can enjoy the ever-popular Eat, Pray, Love. The next evening, the Marina’s Events Centre—where all screenings are held—will feature the iconic Bohemian Rhapsody.

The lineup continues on August 24 with a screening of Before Sunrise, and on August 25, the charming Disney animation Coco will light up the screen. As the month progresses, War Dogs will be presented on August 29, followed by the timeless classic Dead Poets Society on August 30. The final film of August will be the beloved comedy My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, showing on August 31, with Toy Story 1 rounding out the series on September 1.

Screenings Beyond Ayia Napa
