The summer season kicks off with a delightful garden opening at Paphos’ Technopolis 20, welcoming everyone to revel in a concert this Friday at 8:30 pm.
The evening’s musical journey begins with the unveiling of Kyriakos Costa’s debut album “Ekei,” featuring the talented Nocturna Band. Through six intimate stories, Costa paints a vivid picture of our contemporary reality. With Maria Voultsopoulou and Georgia Kaimaklioti lending their voices, Alexandros Komodromos on electric guitar, Nektarios Kassar on electric bass, and Petros Kkalis on drums, the stage is set for an enchanting performance.
Costa, a Cyprus-based pianist and composer, infuses his music with elements of Greek poetry and modern storytelling, creating a captivating cinematic experience. With a background in classical music, his compositions blend sweet melodies and traditional Greek influences, promising a heartfelt and unique musical journey.
Later in the month, on May 29, Technopolis 20 will host Anastasia Maksimova’s Paphos Choir, presenting a fresh acoustic repertoire of rock and pop classics. Adding to the allure, renowned pianist Evgeniy Kosovsky, listed among the top 100 pianists of the 21st century, will join the choir for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
